Shared-play guide

Updated October 2, 2026. Simple ways to enjoy ReadySetSay together.

Play the three free Rocket games

Start with one shared moment

Open the free browser game and sit alongside the child if they want company. Rocket Launch, Star Chase, and Moon Landing are available without an account. Start with Rocket Launch; choose another game from Games when you are ready. There is no quiz or speech score to complete.

Use the five-minute Rocket Launch phrase-play routine

Rocket quickstart: follow their lead · Choosing a phrase-play game

Choose sound and an ending

Speech on models the game's phrases aloud. Calm mode turns speech off and reduces motion; the game remains playable. Help me!, Stop!, All done!, and Too loud! remain available during play. Stop interrupts play, while All done! lets the child rest until they choose to play again.

Picture games with optional speech and Calm mode: find the controls, check saved preferences, and try a short Rocket example.

Follow the child’s choice

You can point to a phrase, say it if that feels natural, or simply wait. Repeat a favorite, try another picture, pause or stop—each choice is welcome.

Communication can take many forms

Speech, sounds, gestures, pointing and your child’s AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) device are all welcome. They do not need to repeat the game’s words. Follow the communication that fits the moment.

Use words and communication goals that fit your child, with guidance from their speech-language professional.

Keep the moment flexible

There is no required number of turns and no expected result. You can pause, use Calm mode, replay a favorite, or stop whenever the child or adult wants to stop.
